See those wild red arrows to the left? They indicate my windows. Los Ojos, the name I've given to my studio, is located in Rome in an area called San Lorenzo. San Lorenzo is near the university and the people here are very Rainbowed.
From my windows, passer-bys can hear Ibrahim Ferrer sing Que Bueno Balla Usted or maybe Eleftheria Arvanitaki's For The Colour Of Your Eyes.

The mentuccia's smell is wild and naughty putting noses in motion.

From my street, on a clear day, you can the nearby hills.

During World War II, San Lorenzo was bombed by Allied planes. Today you can still see the gaps left by these bombings.

WORKSHOPS IN ROME

I periodically organize recycling related workshops in Rome during the late fall, winter and early spring. Since the workshops are held in my studio where space is limited, groups are limited to a maximum of 4 people. The workshops can be held in English or Italian.

The Bricoleur.
A bricoleur is one who uses what he has to create what he needs.
A bricoleur has the power to take something old and, via context, make it new. A bricoleur thus updates and revises an object's existential status.
Bricolate is dialectic. Abandoned objects and wasted materials sit and ask: What can I be used for? and the bricoleur responds by transforming them. The static becomes dynamic, trash becomes treasure.

To the left, a coffee table made from rolled paper. You can see it above in front of the daybed.
