The
best exercise for the face is laughter. It's like an aerobic workout
for the facial muscles.
Laughter and orgasms have something in common. They both produce endorphins. And they both alter our brain frequencies. Laughter not only gives you and overall sense of of well-being, it also releases cells such as Gamma-interferon, T-cells and B-cells all of which make and activate disease-destroying antibodies. Laughter is the physiological response to humour. It helps block the stress hormones cortisol and epinephrine, which suppress the immune system, obstruct the arteries and raise blood pressure. Negative emotions, such as anger, sadness and fear are often bottled up by people, rather than expressed. If repressed, these negative emotions can cause biochemical changes that affect our bodies. When we laugh, we are offering a harmless cathartic release, therefore preventing potential disease. By increasing the concentration of salivary immunoglobulin A, laughter defends against infectious organisms entering through the respiratory tract. Because a goody belly laugh can empty the lungs of more air than it takes in thus cleansing them. Laughter can stimulate the release of endorphins the body's natural pain killers. It may help protect against heart attack. A hearty laughter not only improves circulation, it also massages the heart, lungs and digestive system. It can even make headaches go away.
